A private club, but visitors welcome.

Although accessed from Birstall Road, Birstall, the premises are located within the Leicester City boundary. The site is owned by Central England Co-operative. The site is currently run by Midlands Co-operative Society Sports & Social Club (a members' club), and contains facilities for rugby union, tennis, petanque, darts, bowls and various small groups operate from the hall. The small 'Pig Inn the Dog House' bar is managed by MCS Sports & Social, and is normally only open on Rugby match days and during training sessions as well as darts on Thursdays and petanque on Wednesdays. The bar welcomes visitors during the season, matches being played on Saturday afternoons. Charnwood real ale is occasionally available; otherwise, there is one 'craft' keg ale from Theakston's. There is a large function room available for hire.
