This traditional local pub built in 1825 in the village of Langley is situated in the centre of a row of terraced houses. It is thought to be the only pub of this name in the country. It has a bar area with an open fire and two other rooms, one with a pool table. Free juke box. It serves one regular Banks beer and two rotating guest beers often local micro breweries. There is a pleasant outdoor seating area overlooking playing fields, the River Bollin and fine views of Teggs Nose and the country park. Takeaways also available.

Bus stop is near Methodist Church on Cock Hall lane.

Community Run

A community group has launched a community buyout giving residents, local businesses and the wider community the opportunity to collectively own the pub. They have registered a Community Benefit Society, Langley Community Society Limited (LCS Ltd). An anonymous backer has agreed to purchase the freehold, allowing the community group to focus on running the pub and raising the funds to purchase of the freehold in the long term. The group are now offering shares.
