New licensee has put real ale back on again.
Enter at the front with a step down into the bar area where two handpumps wait your choice. This pub dates from around 1553 with wooden beams in abundance and a large inglenook fireplace. Stairs by the door lead up to the darts area. There is a step up to the rear seating area. Turn to the right where a corridor leads past the toilets to the rear. Continue outside and up a few steps where there is a large garden with lights along the surrounding fence. Picnic tables are provided and a small shelter from inclement weather.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 2 regular beers.
