Was one of only 22 pubs in the UK lit by gas lamps but sadly these were reported as no longer in use in 2025. No music or bandits, just good pub traditions. Serving up to eight cask beers including four regular beers from the upstairs brewery, plus guest beers. Benches are set along the canal side for enjoying a drink during the summer and inside a roaring log burner to sit beside in the winter months. Dogs are welcome.
