South of The Ashby road, the pub is now a free house. Two rooms for letting available for those wishing to explore the area. The focus is on cask ales; as well as lunchtime and evening meals. Thursday is Pie night (phone to book) and Friday - fish and chips.

Sunday lunch tends to be very popular, so booking in advance is advisable.
