A popular pub, situated in the centre of the town close to the ferry terminal, opposite the marina and within walking distance of all amenities including the famous Victorian toilets. The pub has two bars and a separate dining area.

After several months of downtime the pub re-opened under new management in February 2025 for bar customers only. Meals will resume after a refurbishment of the kitchen and dining areas has been completed.
