Traditional local pub, serving the town for over 300 years. The Landlord is very enthusiastic about the cask ales he serves. The pub retains its beamed ceiling and other woodwork, and a brick-fronted bar. Home cooked meals available at both lunchtime and evenings in the newly refurbished restaurant. There is a beer garden to the side of the pub. A pool table and darts board are located in the upstairs room. 2026 Town pub of the season.
