A friendly rural pub on the Trent side serving two regular and one/two changing guest beers. An extensive menu is available with reasonably priced meals. The front part of the pub is open plan and there is also a room to the side. There is outside seating and it has its own adjacent caravan and camping park, a children's play park and fishing is also available. There are still signs of the old skittle alley. For the energetic there are walks along the Trent banks. The pub is within easy access of Retford, Lincoln and Newark.
