This 400-year-old village pub is situated on the village green with its maypole and the pub participates in a large event on May Day. The traditional wood-beamed interior includes a restaurant, lounge and bar areas. Photographs and maps depicting the history of the village are on the walls. Good food and three real ales are available, Olde Lion Ale and two rotating guest beers. Situated close to Rufford Park, Sherwood Forest and Clumber Park.
