This is a restaurant, where drinking alcohol, including draught and bottled beer, is only allowed when food is being consumed.

Formerly the Crown And Sceptre Inn, rebuild in 1964 following the disastrous fire in 1962 of the original thatched pub, on almost the same site. Floored with Rhodesian teak to resist stiletto heels and with natural oak and elm beams throughout.

Authentic Italian food freshly prepared and cooked in their highly visible kitchen. All food is sourced locally. Takeaway and delivery available. The outdoor garden area has umbrellas, tables and canopies and a children's play area, enhanced by a fenced pen for chickens and a pair of peacocks.

Accessibility access - Level throughout including a Disabled toilet.
