A large,open and airy Wetherspoon pub with a traditional feel.

The pub is on the site of the old Huyton Brewery, founded in 1825, and managed by the Barker family over four generations until 1925. A sculpture of Richard Barker can be found near the bar. The main dining area leads onto the beer garden at the rear.
