Family owned and run, with a change of ownership in March 2024. Run as a free house in the heart of Sherwood Forest. House beer supplied by local brewery Welbeck Abbey, plus one Timothy Taylor regular ale and 2 or 3 changing beers. High class restaurant with large range of daily specials, and local produce is used wherever possible. Private Functions catered for. 4 star AA rated accommodation. New owners have introduced Sports TV, and are now offering 'House of Bukhara' Indian food nights, as well as trialling a breakfast for walk-in customers (in addition to hotel guest.)
