Traditional country pub in a convenient location for the famous Waterfall Walks. It has a large area catering mainly for diners with quality home-cooked food, and a separate bar for use by hikers and for screening live rugby matches on TV. One of the changing cask ales is dispensed by gravity from a small barrel sitting on the front bar.

The outside tables are popular with walkers and diners in fine weather. Monday is quiz night and live acoustic music on the last Sunday of the month. The pub may close in the afternoon in winter if quiet.

There is step free access both into and throughout most of the pub. With a raised seating area at the rear of the restaurant, which has a single large step of approx. 200mm. There is an accessible toilet, which is at one end of the toilet corridor behind the bar. The gent's toilet has a single step at its doorway.

Strictly for pub patrons only and enter your vehicle reg on a tablet by the bar. On very busy days it may be restricted to prebooked diners only, due to the many tourists & walkers in the village.
