Near Brunel University, this Load of Hay was built on the site of the Elthorne Light Militia’s officer’s mess and stables. It became a public house in the 1870s when the stables formed the main public area, hence the name. Reopened 5 September 2022 as the Loft more focussed on students from nearby Brunel University. Pizza available and Sunday Roast 12 - 4pm.
