Large, multi-roomed pub/restaurant adjacent to the Chigwell Travelodge. Built in the early 19th century, the pub is tastefully decorated retaining some wooden beams, stone floor and several real fireplaces. Prints of historic local scenes adorn some of the walls. the pub serves one changing beer on a rotating basis featuring well known ales. (Eg Doom Bar, Dark Star Hop Head , Timothy Taylors Landlord).
