Primarily a live music venue. Previous acts include Jake Bugg, The Killers, Ellie Goulding, The Libertines, Echo and The Bunnymen, Spear of Destiny, Happy Mondays, Imelda May, Kaiser Chiefs, Mumford & Sons, Seth Lakeman, The Kooks, The Rapture and Travis to name but a few.

Historic Interest

Opened as a music venue in 2003 with a capacity of 450. The Rescue Rooms website has an impressive gig list archive going back to the start which is well worth running through for those interested in the venue's performance history (www.rescuerooms.com).
