The Old Windmill has been serving food and ale to locals since at least 1799 and was refurbished in 2011. Wood fires, flagstone floors and oak beams abound, it is a classic English country pub, with the bar at the heart of the building. Large outdoor seating areas at the front and rear of the pub. Extensive food menu is served daily until 10pm (9.30pm on Sundays). House beer is Bunning & Price Original Bitter 3.8% from Phoenix Brewery and is one of up to 6 real ales that are served with 2 or 3 of these ales being from local Essex breweries. 60p off a pint Monday to Friday between 5 and 7pm
