[Description whe it was Lime Tree] A pleasant cafe bar cum pub/restaurant striking a genuine note while adding a touch of sophistication to the town's drink/dining options. Handy for thirsty shoppers in the town's only pedestrianised street, the interior is on several levels and the decor makes much use of wood with wooden dining furniture; note also the ornate carving beneath the bar counter. A small library is at the top end of the premises while plenty of pictures hang from the walls. A vast choice of dishes figure on a menu that is supplemented by daily specials. Community events are held such as quiz nights on Sunday evenings, jazz nights and Louise Gains International Arts Days on the last Thursday of the month. It seems to appeal to all ages and has a nice relaxed atmosphere. Free Wi-Fi available. On the market for an asking price of £450k (March 2022)
