Formerly the Masons Arms, this friendly locals pub is set below the level of the main Pontypool to Blaenavon road adjacent to the former railway line that once wound its way up to Blaenavon (Low Level station). Pub games are popular with pool, darts, and cribbage played in the public bar while there is also a skittles alley. A larger room is behind the servery where drinks are served via a hatch. Bus stop on main road. Due to be sold by auction (guide price £145k) on 6 March 2013
