This freehold pub caters both for the family food market and real ale drinkers. It offers a diverse and wide range of cask ale, with Marston's Pedigree as the house bitter. Four other hand pumps offer a range of changing guest ales both national and local. Its layout is such that a quiet corner can be found at most times. The main menu offers an interesting choice of traditional pub favourites, snacks and sandwiches as well as 28 day aged Derbyshire beef from the grill. The large beer garden is very busy during thew summer months
