A thatched 15th Century set of three houses combined into a pub in the 19th Century and extended with a conservatory and a garden with a barbeque. Inside the ceiling height varies a lot and the floor also slopes. It is a very pleasant and friendly place which has an interesting blend of old and new features. The pub is directly on the A1017 and is next to the nursery which propagated the Sturmer Pippin apple.
