Local CAMRA Pub of the Year 2026, popular haunt for students and locals. Up to four rotating ales, both local and national are usually available Occasional beer festivals are held on the heated and covered rear patio. Pub games include darts and there are quiz nights. Food is available every day. In Victorian times, two houses were converted to this pub serving workers building nearby Royal Holloway College. Refurbished but virtually unchanged, with several snug spaces. NB Opening and food times may vary particularly during summer, check pub social media.
