Situated in a back street off the southern end of Walworth Road, the pub re-opened in June 2025 after a long closure. The current name is a reference to a former historical pub in the area. A rather attractive Victorian pub with in impressive central Dutch gable and hanging sign. Formerly called The Sir Robert Peel after the former Prime Minister and creator of the modern police force. No cask ale available as of 2025.
