Grade 3 listed building thought to be late 18th century. Was a youth club and opened as a pub in 1990 as a replacement for the Ship and the Griffin that were lost in the shopping centre development. Pleasant, comfortable one bar pub with good facilities for the disabled and good lunchtime food.
