An inn from the early 18th century, renamed as the Marlborough Arms and more recently the Marlborough Hotel. It was bought by Oakman Inns in 2010, refurbished and reopened in Autumn 2011 under its original name, the Blue Boar. Sold again to The Restaurant Group in 2025. Has a bar and seating at the front and a restaurant at the rear.
Historic Interest
Listed Grade II as c 1800 with earlier traces although substantially rebuilt in 1866.
