A large welcoming and genuine free house situated on the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border. Up to 3 guest beers available. Large dining areas offer varied lunchtime and evening menus. A popular spot in the summer and can become busy, especially with boaters. A patio and other areas afford outside drinking and pleasing views of the river. Moorings available. Large car-park.

Historic lurid events, including murder and hangings, that occurred at the pub are featured in a local folk story called 'the Black Sheet' and performed as a dance by the local Ouse Wash Molly!
