One of the best beer selections in the area with eight hand pulled ales plus six traditional ciders and perry.

There is always a wide variety of well chosen quality beers from micros and breweries from around the UK such as XT, Vale, Kelham Island, Salopian and Dark Star.

This is a true wet sales alehouse with a pubby front bar and a smart refurbished back bar. Fortnightly Saturday evening live music can be from national artists.

The annual beer festival is in January which is handy for Charlbury Railway Station. Winner of Oxfordshire Pub of the Year 2018.
