Became the Jackdaw and Star in August 2014. This pub has a island bar with a distressed feel. Some tables have a glass top with memorabilia underneath ranging from pipes to mobile phones. Re-positioned January 2018 selling vegan food.

Historic Interest

Late Victorian pub dominates a corner site. Three storeys in red brick with a slender and projecting corner turret containing three slender windows at the first and second floor level, and is topped with a conical roof. A dentil cornice runs below the parapet. Three stucco string courses run around the building. The ground floor has three entrances with the main entrance on the corner. Three large timber framed windows containing three panes and three top lights.
