Original pub was converted to a Chinese restaurant in 2001.

After a refurbishment Barworks reopened in February 2020. Now run by Urban Inns it has Soft yellow muted lighting, walls adorned with a variety of old prints of buildings. Stripped wood floor with banquette seating around walls. Food may be available, seems to change from in house to franchise.
