Traditional English pub located in the heart of Adderbury, a beautiful north Oxfordshire village, just 3 miles south of Banbury.
Expect a warm welcome from both the landlord and locals, making it a true community pub.
A good range of six Hook Norton ales are served, including a seasonal offering from the brewery. Laugh, Sing & Dance is a special 3.7% brew produced only for this pub to celebrate the Morris Dance festivals. Real cider from Napton is also available.
Bar snacks and light bites are locally sourced, with regular Tuesday night curry, Pizza Friday and Sunday Lunch.
In the bar there is an open log fire for warmth in winter, and at the back an enclosed patio beer garden, with an Aunt Sally pitch, overlooking the church for the warmer months.
The spiritual home of Adderbury Morris Men, regular folk dance and music events take place including two major village morris festivals each year. The music room is dedicated to the morris dance team and the many folk musicians who play each month, with life-sized murals of morris dancers.
Sport is often shown in the music room on TV, including all major sporting events such as Champions League Football, Six Nations Rugby, Cheltenham Festival, etc. There is a separate games room with a pool table and dart board, on the way to the WCs and the garden.
