Re-opened Feb 2024 after 4 years of closure. The Swan Inn is a traditional 17th Century pub which started life as three timber-framed artisans cottages. Some 50 years later two of the dwellings became used as an alehouse known as The Globe Inn. Nearish to Reading football stadium, the Swan is a popular meeting place of the local business community and sports fans. The pub has been tastefully refurbished and works to transform the garden into a welcoming area with its own bar was completed med 2025.
