Seventeenth century roadside pub with a spacious garden. Usually has three cask ales on. Currently no food served. May close early on Sundays.

Asset of Community Value

Active Campaign

The residents secured West Oxfordshire District Council’s listing of the pub as an Asset of Community Value (ACV) in March 2022, but the owner, an investment company, put the Fox Inn on the market in June 2023. The Bartons Community Benefit Society Ltd is trying to purchase the pub. On Jan 30 2025 they made an initial bid of £375,000 for the pub but was rejected by the vendor.
