Bought in 2024 from Brakspear by 'Horns Hospitality', a consortium comprising 37 investors (local residents) to safeguard the "beating heart" of the village. Free of tie, with 2 upstairs accommodation rooms. A historic pub in large grounds, with quality restaurant in an ancient, adjoining barn conversion - which houses an outside bar and kitchen. Quiz night last Thursdys. Somewhat remote, but less than an hour's gentle amble through the forest from Wargrave (A321) or Knowl Hill (A4), via a variety of routes.
