Home to the Weatheroak Hill brewery (located in the old coach house at the front) this award winning country free house has been in the same family since 1968. It has a traditional bar with a real fire and quarry tiled floor. There is also a modern lounge-bar and a separate restaurant. A large garden wraps around the pub which is popular in the summer. Fresh cobs are regularly available. The old Roman road, Icknield Street, runs alongside the pub. Although the pub is on two levels there is disability access from both the double doors of the car park and down a ramp to the old bar( it's advertised to use the double doors as this is where the disabled toilet is situated). There are two disabled parking spaces in the car park.
