Recently purchased from Punch Taverns, this local is situated at the top of the village, close to the A64. The large room is divided into a drinking and games area. Two changing guest ales are offered. Food, prepared on the premises, is available from the "take-away" hatch at the side of the pub. The pub pool team participates in a local league and the Sports TV is a popular feature. A smoking/drinking area is located at the rear. This establishment is popular with walkers ( being close to the Wolds Way ) particularly during the Summer months.
