This is a truly ancient building, reputedly a 16th Century former coaching inn. It is a popular pub. It is now possible to walk all the way around the bar with each ‘area’ identifiable by a different wall pattern and flooring, this having the effect of breaking up a large open area into individual ‘snug’ type spaces. The ‘L’ shaped bar area with bright white wall tiles provides a central focus for the whole pub. An extensive food menu is served all day. Sunday roasts are popular. The rear garden has several benches. Five TV’s showing Sky Sports and TNT Sports (four inside, one outside) have been installed.

At the back of the car park there are 6 Electric Vehicle chargers.
