Modern, comfortable pub at east end of High St, offering up to 20 beers, including 4 changing cask ales, craft keg beers and ciders. The beers available are displayed on boards rather than the pump clips.

There is also a huge selection of interesting cans of beer and have an "off licence". The cans include pale ales, Imperial stouts, IPAs and Sours & Gose. They give a 25% discount off the price of cans taken away.

Good value food is served daily. An upstairs function room is available for hire, along with a cellar bar/function room. Large garden and patio provide a pleasant outdoor, south facing drinking area.

This pub is owned by the Scarlett Pub Company which also owns The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer in Bristol.
