The pub boasts a large baronial style restaurant with an excellent menu and quality food. The outside seating area has many tables and a smoking shelter.

It is named after a rare breed of pig and Piff's Elm was a "hanging" tree located on the site, felled in 1844. Grade II listed, refurbished in 2010, and retaining its heritage.

C18 inn previously known as the Piff's Elm and later White Swan until 1979. Grade II listed Entry Number 1340058.
