The pub is well set back from the road, the front garden has a children's play area at one end and a decked patio with marquee at the other. The bar has contemporary furniture and a flagstone floor but retains a warm rustic feel despite undergoing refurbishment in early 2021. Food is served in the bar and adjacent restaurant.
