  • Outstanding pub restoration

OCT 2025 - Nobles closed on 30th September but Bellfield Brewery has taken on the lease. After a period of refurb it reopened with real ales. Many details may change.

JUN 2025 - Reported that handpump removed and NO REAL ALE.

JUN 2024 - Real ale has returned. One handpump in use.

SEP 2022 NO REAL ALE - handpumps out of use due to stated lack of demand. Details given may be out of date.

A large, upmarket pub with Victorian interior and interesting facade. Popular with a wide variety of local people who are often drawn in by the excellent food.

The large front main panel stained glass windows are in storage and may eventually be restored, but the smaller panes and internal panels are worth a look.

NOTE: May not serve alcohol before 11am on Thu-Sun. Also open Mon and Tues 4.30-1am in August and Monday holidays.

Restoration

A large pub with a superb Victorian interior and interesting facade, both restored to former glory. The sizeable front stained-glass windows may yet be restored, but the smaller panes and internal panels remain. An impressive job.
