In the village centre, this open-plan pub has been sympathetically refurbished to a high standard and is popular with locals and visitors alike. Excellent food is available evenings from Thur - Fri and all day on Saturday and Sunday to nine and eight pm respectively. Quiz night is on Sunday and a cocktail evening is hosted on Thursdays. The area at the front around the central bar is used for drinking and eating, while the rear is generally set out for dining. There is also a sheltered outdoor patio at the back of the pub for use in the warmer months.
