A traditional Grade II listed pub on the High Street, about half a mile from the seafront and the terminus of the Swanage Steam Railway. There are two bars with stone floors and wood-burners serving three well-kept ales. It is renowned for its quality food, and booking for tables is essential. There is a lovely rear garden that catches the evening sunshine.
