Village free house built out of local ironstone situated on the main road through the village. To the front a comfortable bar has tables and settees. To the rear is a large restaurant catering for up to 90 dinners. Food, much of it sourced locally, ranges from pub favourites to restaurant specials with a variety of vegetarian options and regular theme nights. Occasional live music is played. Good value accommodation is available. Breakfast is served 9am - 11am at weekends.
