A typical village canalside pub in the centre of Burscough. The licensee says they are concentrating on serving real ale but also do food in the afternoons and evenings except Monday or Tuesday. You can watch the canal boats go past from the garden or the canal side. The pub is just over the road from Burscough Wharf, and is ideal for a pub ramble along the canal with its many pubs serving real ale. There are a series of old prints of Burscough on the walls inside.
