Large imposing corner pub with bowling green to the rear. It offers the usual Marston's food menu at good prices. No real ale served.

Re-opened May 16, 2025 as a "Grandstand sports pub" - a new brand from Marston's with a huge TV. Pool table and live entertainment on Saturdays.
