This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.

Cosy, private members club in attractive conservation village. Two real ales available on handpull, usually one from Timothy Taylor (Boltmaker or Landlord) and one from Black Sheep (rotating through their range) . Other breweries do appear. Card carrying CAMRA members are welcome and treated as affiliated members. Other guests are also welcome. A real fire is available, perfect for sitting next to on cold evenings. Quiet background music. Comfortable, modern & welcoming.

Please note there is no car-park. Tuesday night is quiz night.

Third Thursday of each month (except August and December) is Pie night. Steak Pie, mushy peas & mash for £5. Puddings are also available for an additional £3. On pie nights opens at 6pm. Note that the club is closed on Thursdays other than pie nights (3rd Thursday).
