Cosy village pub in a small village next to the River Don, with impressive oak beams and well decorated interior. A true free house, owned & run by local couple Andy & Louise. Adjacent to the village church it is utilised for Christening and wedding receptions. The lounge bar which is well furnished and pleasingly decorated. Background music kept to a discreet volume, with monthly live lounge type music,. Up to four real ales available. Refurbishment November 2022. Apart from Mondays opens for breakfast at 9.30am. Pub open from noon. Saturday evening is changing street food menus from outside caterers.
