District Pub of the Year 2011, Pub of the Season Winter 2013/14, this fine hostelry is a landmark on the Gainsborough Road . One changing ale on handpump, usually from Marston's range. 2 Bars with dining in both, with an extensive menu for lunchtime and evening meals. As from October 2025, the Ship is managed by Shelley who has many years in the licensed trade and five years in management. She has also re-introduced cask ale to the pub, with one ale from Marstons.
