Now in the guide for its sixth consecutive year, this old coaching inn dates from the 1500s with original beams and open fires. It has six pumps serving real ales, of which up to two are Wadworth - usually IPA and a seasonal/varying offering, plus up to four other guest ales. A dark beer is usually available plus a still cider. Food is served all week and dogs are welcome. There is no car park but there is plenty of on street parking plus off street car parks adjacent.
