Popular micropub, in what used to be Gallagher's bookmakers shop. The five changing beers always include a blonde, a pale, a bitter, a dark beer and a strong or speciality beer. Appletreewick cider and 3 to 4 changing ciders are also available. The cellar can be viewed through a window to the left of the bar. No electronic music or TV. Parking is available adjacent to the Co-op store round the corner. Gallagher's supports a number of groups and causes in the local area.

Additional seating added upstairs in October 2024 for use on busy days and for live music. See social media for information about upcoming music events.
